Cake Frosting


Ingredients:
1/2 c. vegetable shortening 1/2 tsp. to 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 c. confectioner's sugar enough milk to make smooth
Directions:
Basic icing for cake, cupcakes, cookies. Just make sure the cake is cooled completely before frosting or you'll end up with a slidey mess, take it from me. Combine. Stir well. Spread on a cake. Variation: Chocolate frosting: Add 2 squares melted unsweetened baker's chocolate to shortening. Enjoy! -Diana
