Apple Salad


Ingredients:
6 med. sweet apples 1/2 c. raisins 3 to 4 ribs celery, diced 1 to 1 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped 2 medium carrots, shredded 1 c. mayonnaise 1 c. Cool Whip 1/2 c. sour cream pinch of sugar lemon juice and water for soaking apples
Directions:
A salad for the potluck picnic table, crunchy and sweet with apples and raisins. Thanks to Elanor Yoder of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Cut apples into bite-sized pieces and soak in lemon water. (The acid in the lemon juice keeps the apples from browning.) Drain apples when all other ingredients are chopped. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients to blend. Chill and serve.
