Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder (or combine with a fork). Add sugar.
Cut the butter into small pieces and cut it into the flour with a
pastry blender
or a fork. Add milk.
Stir/knead to make a slightly sticky dough.
Drop by large spoonfuls onto a
baking sheet
. Bake at 425° F for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes a very flaky, crumbly biscuit.
(For a less crumbly biscuit, substitute vegetable shortening like Crisco for the butter.)
Serve with honey.
