1/2 lb. (that's 2 sticks) butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
3 cups sifted flour
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
Directions:
Cream butter and brown sugar together until very creamy. Stir in the eggs. Measure flour and sift together with nutmeg and baking soda. Stir flour mixture gradually into butter mixture until well blended. Chill at least three hours. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes. Bake at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes. Makes about 8 dozen. Enjoy! -Diana
