Brownies - Cocoa Candy Cakes

Ingredients:
1 1/3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. butter 1 c. cocoa 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 1/4 c. milk 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. walnuts, optional confectioners sugar, for dusting, optional
Directions:
Classic brownies, in the grand Hershey's cocoa tradition. Perfect for a bake sale. In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt. Melt butter, and stir in cocoa. Mix butter/cocoa mixture with sugar. Add eggs. Add flour mixture in parts, a bit at a time. Beat until smooth. Blend in milk and vanilla. Stir in nuts, if desired. Pour into 9x13 baking dish. Bake 25 - 30 min. at 350°F, until a toothpick comes out clean and brownie pulls away slightly from the sides of the pan.
