Shortbread

Ingredients:
1 pound butter (no substitutes), softened 1 cup sifted confectionery sugar 3.5 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup cornstarch
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Combine flour and cornstarch; gradually add to creamed mix. Pat into an ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Pierce several times with a fork. Bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 mins. or until lightly browned. Cut while warm. Makes about 6 dozen. Enjoy! -Diana
