Chocolate Cupcake Bread Pudding


Ingredients:
4 c. bread, cubed 3 eggs 3 c. milk 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. chocolate chips 3/4 c. raisins 4 chocolate cupcakes, cubed 2 mashed bananas
Directions:
Cube 4 cups bread -- the better the bread, the better the dish. Mix in cubed chocolate cupcakes (like from Tastykake, or leftover from that birthday party...) Add raisins, chocolate chips. If your raisins are particularly pebble-like, soak them in water for 5 min. first (my Dad calls it "re-grape-ing"). In a separate bowl, combine eggs, milk, vanilla, nutmeg, bananas. Combine both mixtures in a greased baking dish, let stand 15 min. Bake at 375 degrees F 45 - 60 min. Serve in bowls, with Hard Rum Sauce.
