Paella, Swedish Style More Recipes Like This


Ingredients: Metric Units
1 recipe Pilaf
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
pinch saffron threads or 1/2 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp red pepper
1/4 tsp green pepper
1/4 lb shrimp, cleaned
1 lb chicken
1/2 c frozen peas
black olives for garnish
Directions:
Prepare rice pilaf.

Cut chicken into small bite-sized pieces.

Clean, rinse, and slice pepper into strips.

Slice olives.

Combine chicken, peppers, spices, and rice in a baking dish and place in a 350F oven 10 minutes.

When chicken is almost done, stir in shrimp and frozen peas.

Return to oven for 5 minutes. Paella is done when shrimp is pink and peas are heated through.
