A decadent summer dessert, great for celebrating Dad on Father's Day.
You will need:
Time. This recipe requires chilling.
Crush wafers. Combine with butter. Press into bottom and up sides of 9" pie plate
Chill thoroughly, or bake at 350º F for 7 minutes and then chill.
Pack ice cream into chilled crust. Shape into slight mound. Freeze until firm.
Pour fudge sauce evenly over pie. Freeze until ready to serve.
Serve with dollop of whipped cream, garnish with almond slices.
